Latino business owners make 3.5 times less than non-Latino business owners. Why? First, Latinos often lack the credit history to take out certain loans from banks. Latinos also often face discrimination from banks even when they have the same credit history as others: banks give Latino business owners higher interest rates, or simply offer less money to begin with.
