TO commemorate the Christmas season, Universal Studios Singapore(USS) at Resorts World Sentosa launched an experiential festive light display that will take visitors through eight thematic zones.
The display took two months to build and is made up of 824,961 individual bulbs. Unsurprisingly, it also broke the Guinness World Records Day 2016 for the “largest lightbulb display in an indoor venue”.
In a statement published by Resorts World Sentosa, the Santa’s All-Star Christmas program will transform USS into a wonderland with snowfall, fireworks, festive light displays, as well as new musical performances and appearances by the park’s very own all-star cast decked out in their Christmas outfits.
The light installations have garnered much excitement on social media, and is reminiscent of the buzz garnered when Singapore’s ArtScience Museum debuted Future World, an enchanting display of art installations to reflect the digital universe.
The Crystal Universe portion of the exhibition sees more than 170,000 LED lights giving visitors the illusion of stars moving in space.
