SILKAIR, the full-service regional wing of Singapore Airlines, recently rolled out a curated selection of over 20 new dishes for business class passengers.
Some of the new dishes up for selection include Singaporean and Malaysian favorites like Hainanese chicken rice, roti jala with chicken curry, nasi lemak with otak-otak, hand-grilled satay, fried carrot cake and ikan assam pedas.
Passengers less averse to spice can also opt for North Indian classics like chicken tikka masala and masala fish biryani. However, if you’d rather stick to continental or Western cuisine, options like grilled beef tenderloin and roasted salmon filler are available.
Business class passengers will get to choose their in-flight meals up to 24 hours in advance before their flight. The airline is looking to extend a similar service for economy class passengers.
Recently, SilkAir announced an extension of routes to Luang Prabang and Vientiane from October onwards. The airline flies to regional destinations in Asia, particularly to popular Southeast Asian destinations.
