Tickets n Tour, a tourism booking platform, acquired Special Tours – one of SA’s leading local tour websites – on May 28, effectively entering the international market.
The acquisition was made with the aim of expanding Special Tours’ existing packages in order to reach a wider audience, and promote diverse SA tours and experiences to a global audience. The integration of Tickets n Tour with Special Tours will see a host of popular SA attractions become accessible to a wider international audience, in an effort to grow and promote tourism in the country.
The platform will feature listings and information on various activities, and adventures and tours through a centralised site, allowing visitors to compare prices, bookmark their favourites and save money.
