Besides the main star attraction, this animal farm is actually home to some other animals, such as horses, goats, fowl, rabbits, donkeys, guinea pigs, and fish. Discovering PD deeper in Kota and Muzium Lukut
This historic fort sits about 4 km to the north of Port Dickson. The city was built in 1847 by Bugis warrior – Raja Jumaat, tucked atop the scenic hillside. Today, all that remains of Kota Lukut are the ruined walls and foundation stones. The museum is the main attraction and can be found in the foothills. The museum showcases historical and cultural artifacts from the Lukut mining era. The fortress area is now used as recreational park, containing a gazebo and watchtowers used for sightseeing around the surrounding areas.
Embrace the magical Wan Loong Chinese Temple
This colorful temple is small, yet built with outstanding architecture and decoration. The design looks like the fortress walls guarding the temple. This magical temple is dedicated to several oriental deities, including the goddess of mercy – Kuan Yi, and the legendary Monkey King. The temple is open all day and is freely open to the public. Remember to be respectful and keep quiet while exploring the temple. About 5 km to the north of this temple is one of the best Port Dickson hotels, named Avillion Port Dickson. The museum traces the whole history of the Malaysian Royal Armed Forces through a dramatic yet romantic story tale. Some signature collections cover decommissioned military vehicles and memorial fountains as a tribute to the soldiers in Malaysia’s war history. This museum is free to explore from the morning up to the evening.
