Oceania Cruises said it will offer six additional cruises featuring Cuba in November and December of 2017.
The upper-premium line, a Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings brand, has scheduled trips ranging in length from six to thirteen days with departures from Miami.
Oceania said the cruises will include its first calls outside of Havana.
“There is tremendous demand from consumers for voyages to Cuba and our inaugural voyages to the island have been a sell-out success,” said Bob Binder, Oceania’s president and CEO.
Oceania said the cruises open for sale today but did not give prices.
The fall cruises will be offered on the 684-passenger Insignia. For the first time, two early December voyages will stop in Cienfuegos and Santiago de Cuba, in addition to Havana.
The first trip departs Nov. 14 with stops in Havana (two days); Roatan, Honduras; Santo Tomas, Guatemala; Harvest Caye, Norwegian Cruise Line’s private island in Belize; Costa Maya, Mexico; and Nassau.
Oceania had already won permission from the Cuban government for three trips this spring aboard its 1,250-passenger Marina vessel.
