The new Booking Experiences platform curates holiday experiences using AI tchnology
The release of the new Booking Experiences product harnesses artificial intelligence and machine-learning technology to design holiday experiences for each guest. Travelers can view the full list of available things to do, scour for nearby events, or simply explore on the go once they arrive.
On the upside, customers only need pay for the experiences they choose to take on. But if still undecided, a spot will be reserved for guests should they decide to visit at a later time.
The new feature also pulls insights from millions of travelers around the world what they did and didn’t like. It then uses the data to customize details like current waiting time at a popular museum so that each guests gets personalized, relevant information.
David Vismans, chief product officer at Booking.com, said, “The technology behind Booking Experiences will continuously learn from your travel preferences, as well as other travelers like you to eventually present you with increasingly curated options that are just right for you.”
According to Travelpulse, more and more developers are getting into the AI game, helping travelers avoid the rigidity of in-site itineraries.
