Low-cost Kenyan carrier, JamboJet, is increasing its flights between Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Kisumu on Lake Victoria.
Beginning September 3, the airline will add four new flights a week, taking the total to 24. The airline will now operate four services on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays as well as an early morning flight on Sundays, to assist weekend travellers. The routes will be serviced by Dash 8 Q400s.
Willem Hondius, JamboJet CEO, said: “Kisumu was the airline’s second destination after Mombasa. It is time we gave our customers more flexibility and convenience for travel.”
