HONG KONG offers many business privileges for planners and delegates visiting the city.
Delegates will be treated to a range of benefits including complimentary dining and wine, party invites, and entrances to tourist attractions.
For instance, upon purchase of the Disney Corporate Rewards Package, MICE groups of 50 or more will be treated to a complimentary dinner.
Additionally, MICE groups of 20 or more will have free access to the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Happy Wednesday-themed carnivals, complete with free food and beer.
It’s not just large groups that enjoy the deals – small and medium-sized groups that are in town for as little as two nights can take advantage of the offers.
Kenneth Wong, general manager of Hong Kong Tourism Board’s MICE and Cruise division, said in a statement: “To keep up the momentum, MEHK has worked even closer with industry partners to further enhance value-added experiential offers for MICE groups of all sizes.”
The 2017/18 “Hong Kong Rewards!” program will take effect for groups visiting the city between April this year and the end of March next year.
Last year, Hong Kong saw a 9.9 percent growth in business events arrivals despite its status as one of the world’s costliest cities.
