Seven Seas Explorer, Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ new ship, has a “hidden” dining room on Deck 10 of the 56,000-ton vessel.
The room is located between two of the ship’s specialty restaurants, Prime 7 and Chartreuse, and isn’t included on any deck plans, according to Regent Seven Seas president Jason Montague.
Regent plans to use the area as a private dining room for guests in its upper suites, including the Regent and Master suites, and possibly others.”We’re still figuring out the exact arrangement,” Montague said.
The dining room has capacity to seat between 16 and 20 people. Diners can order from the menus of both Prime 7 and Chartreuse, Montague said.
Guests in the Regent, Master and Grand suites are already guaranteed seating on any night in any of the restaurants aboard the ship. Top suite guests can also order 24-hour room service with meals delivered to their rooms for in-suite dining and served course by course.
