Eurail has launched a travel agent training program open to U.S. travel agents, the Eurail Academy.

The academy’s courses cover topics like product information, sales advice and benefits of the Eurail Pass, a train pass system that connects 28 European countries.

The Eurail Specialist Course has seven chapters, ranging from the Eurail Pass’ history to trains included in its network. Agents who complete it will be designated as specialists and will receive a certificate of completion. It is also eligible for two continuing education credits.

The first 100 agents to register for the course will get a $50 Amazon gift card, and will also be entered to win two first class Eurail Global Passes good for 10 days of travel within two months. There will be one winner each month from March to May.

The academy was designed in cooperation with Northstar Travel Group (Travel Weekly’s parent company).
