New Thai Tanic Hotpot is the first restaurant on the island to offer a “catch your own live seafood” hotpot buffet.
Every day, live seafood such as tiger prawns, mud crabs, flower crabs, and shellfish are loaded into the tanks next to the tables.
Patrons are required to catch their own seafood with the thongs provided, place them in a box filled with ice, and then a chef will help prepare it for hotpot meal.
The hotpot comes with an automated tray that elevates all the food from the hotpot once you are ready to chow down so you will not have to dig around the boiling pot for morsels.
There are is also a larger seafood station over 25 types of seasonal seafood, a greens (vegetables and other hotpot sides) station, and a desserts station.
