1. Lake Clark National Park

July is prime #bear viewing time at @LakeClarkNPS. The location of the three main viewing areas follow. 9. Punchbowl Glacier between Poibrene Heights and Metlichina Ridge

Dog mushers put 110% of their time, love & energy into their dogs. What the dogs receive, they will give back in effort and endurance. So, it's always important to stop and love the dogs!

10. Ruth Glacier, Denali National Park and Preserve

Mother Nature always does it best. The moraine of the Ruth glacier looks more like a highway than an Ice flow as it winds through the Great Gorge. The ice is 3,700 ft deep.. With surrounding walls of 4-5000ft it's the worlds deepest. To put that in perspective it would take more than two Yosemite's or Grand Canyons stacked on top of each-other to equal its height.

LOVE aerial views…and promise to not get carried away with a ton of them…but it's a fun way to see little hidden jewels. I believe the glacial term for these are "kettles." Although they look like small puddles from the air…they are more of the size of a lake. Won't get into the nerdy geological reason how these kettles are formed…but it's quite impressive how these phenomenons, of great scale, make one feel really, really, really small and insignificant.
