Alaska Airlines has announced seven new routes from Los Angeles and three new routes from elsewhere on the West Coast, including the first transcontinental routes servicing Fort Myers, Fla.
The carrier will launch four-times weekly service between Los Angeles and Fort Myers on Nov. 20. Four-times weekly service between Seattle and the southwest Florida city will begin the next day.
Alaska also will commence service from Los Angeles to Eugene, Ore., and Medford, Ore., beginning in October, followed by connections from Los Angeles to Bozeman, Mont., and Tampa beginning in November.
Service from Los Angeles to Kona on the Island of Hawaii and to Lihue on Kauai, begins in December. In total, Alaska will fly 35 routes from Los Angeles this winter.
Further up the West Coast, Alaska will begin Portland, Ore.-Fort Lauderdale service on Nov. 20 and San Diego-Fort Lauderdale flights on Nov. 21.
