FORT WASHINGTON, Md. — Travel Leaders Network introduced the latest version of its online lead-generation program — Agent Profiler Plus — during its annual EDGE conference at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center here.
Profiler Plus features redesigned agent profiles as well as the incorporation of video.
The program enables travel advisors to make profile pages online to connect with consumers. The profiles are designed to attract attention from search engines to draw consumers to Travel Leaders Network agents specifically.
“Video is important,” Travel Leaders Group chief marketing and communications officer Stephen McGillivray said. “It helps create that emotional connection between you and your customer.”
McGillivray and Travel Leaders Group vice president of product and solutions delivery Jeremy Van Kuyk introduced Profiler Plus to agents.
During a media briefing, Van Kuyk said Agent Profiler will remain the basic agent profiler available to Travel Leaders Network members for free. Profiler Plus, a fee-based tool that has added features like the ability to have multiple profiles for multiple specialties, replaces Agent Profiler 2.0.
Profiler Plus includes a new layout, integrated video and a map where advisors can pin destinations where they’ve been and where they’ve booked travel.
Profiler Plus will also place an emphasis on reviews that advisors get. For instance, a review associated with a certain destination will be associated with that destination’s pin on a profile page’s map.
According to Van Kuyk, reviews make a difference. Advisors with 10 or more reviews average six times more leads than advisors with fewer reviews, while advisors with 50 or more reviews average 12 times more leads. The reviews, he said, help engender trust with consumers.
McGillivray said advisors’ profiles will highlight their expertise and better engage consumers. Advisors who are already using Agent Profiler 2.0 will automatically upgrade to Profiler Plus starting Wednesday.
Travel Leaders said the average close rate on an Agent Profiler lead is 25%, with an average sale of $5,000.
In addition to Profiler Plus, Travel Leaders Network is a rolling out redesigned websites for advisors with its Leaders Edge Website Program.
The turnkey website solution features a crisp, professional design with the agency’s logo and contact information featured prominently, McGillivray said. It also works hand in hand with the network’s email marketing program, and advisors can integrate the websites with their social media channels. The websites can be customized with different layouts and colors.
Van Kuyk said the sites are integrated with Agent Profiler, as well.
This year’s EDGE conference also marked the debut of a new education program. “Travel Leaders Network — Professional Learning Path” was launched, breaking advisors into different tiers based on their experience. The tiers were determined before the conference.
Tier 1 is for newer agents, tier 2 for established advisors, tier 3 for experienced advisors who are specializing their business, and tier 4 for highly experienced advisors. Each tier had a specific track of workshops to attend, with tracks for leisure and corporate advisors.
“We really needed to have something for all of them to really make our conference here the most they can get,” said Leah Diele, senior director of educational services for Travel Leaders Network.
