Sonesta’s U.S. scale-up: New hotels will grow the brand by nearly 325%

    I am sure they will improve as they grow. So far we have used Sonesta for a few stays. Mostly good, but some odd issues. First stay staff did not know policies in the brochure on the counter and even argued a bit without opening it. 2nd stay better. But the website is very weak (I book a lot of travel and hotels) and there is no iPhone app. Some nice IHG hotels are moving over and prices up up up so will likely stop using them much if it’s just a way to increase pricing. Rewards system is obtuse and not very rewarding compared to most. Not sure what appeals to the companies moving their hotels across as they may not have taken a consumer perspective. But, again, as they grow they may be inspired to improve or already have plans to do that.
