Previously, capsule hotels in Japan cater predominantly to men who needed a place to crash if they missed the last train home after work.
But due to the novelty factor of capsule hotels, they’re growing in popularity among tourists, so much so that there is now a capsule hotel reserved just for women – the, the first of its kind in Tokyo.
Capsule “suites” in this hotels offer two square meters of sleeping space stacked on top of each other and each personal space comes complete with a bed, a charging station, and an alarm clock.
The hotel also provides facilities tailored for women including toilets with bidets and a powder room and shower that comes with free shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, towels, hair brushes, and hair dryers.

Catering to the rising number of single women travelers, thein New Delhi introduced a series of that are customized for female comfort, convenience and care.
To start, there’s a special check-in process just for the ladies and an exclusive airport pick up arrangement escorted by the hotel’s female staff. If required, a 24-hour lady butler can also be arranged to assist guests.
