SEPTEMBER is a quiet season for airlines, and Etihad is attempting to boost bookings by introducing price slashes on flights across its global network.
The sale will offer up to 50 percent discounts to 45 destinations across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Travelers flying into hotspots like Bangkok, Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur best take note if interested to score slashed business class seats.
Members of the airline’s loyalty program, Etihad Guest, will continue to earn air miles on all fares in the sale. The sale will continue till September 6 for travel until June 2017.
Those who are booking with their travel agents can do so till September 4.
Last month, the airline introduced its new Dreamliner service from Abu Dhabi to Shanghai featuring next-gneration business and economy class cabins.
The business class cabins feature a fully-flat bed of up to 80.5 inches long, as well as an increase of 20 percent in personal space.
Seats are made with Poltrona Frau leather, and are equipped with in-seat massage and pneumatic cushion control system that allows passengers to adjust the firmness of their seats.
Plus, business travelers get an 18-inch personal touch screen TV, noise-cancelling headsets, mobile connectivity, on-board WiFi, and seven satellite channels of live TV.
In other Etihad-related news, new lounges have opened over the last 12 months in Melboune, Abu Dhabi and New York.
