Following the return of Alitalia’s JNB-Rome route, with four scheduled flights per week, the Italian airline has announced a thrice-weekly service between Rome and Mauritius.
The route will commence on October 28.
Country Manager South Africa and Sub-Saharan Offline Countries, Paolo Guidi, says: “Starting from the winter season, Alitalia will operate a new direct flight between Mauritius and Rome Fiumicino. The new flight will operate three times a week with Airbus 330 aircraft, configured in three travel classes: Magnifica business class, premium economy and economy. The flight schedule allows for smooth connections through the Rome Fiumicino hub and towards national and international destinations served by the Italian airline.” The flight operates from Mauritius on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays and from Rome on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
